I got to see a Riptide Blue Equinox with black accents this weekend, at my local dealership. The color is definitely close to Hyper in some lights, but overall, it’s brighter without the purple/green hue. Going to look sick on a 2SS IF IT EVER GETS BUILT @GM.

CamaroBody, don't embarrass yourself even further. GearheadSS is a dealership employee with a lot of insider info, who probably forgot more about the Corvette and the Camaro than most of us ever knew.
Also, he helped many a member here and his post count is 4x yours, so calling him the opposite of a contributing member is disingenuous. Again, I often disagree with him, and he can be brash, but let's be realistic here and appreciate each other, we aren't in high school anymore. These two threads shouldn't need to exist separately, hopefully an admin can merge them and weed out the insults so we have a proper official color thread on record going forward. (Despite being a software engineer, if reverse time travel were possible, I'd go back and get rid of computers, but especially the internet. Its positive impact is minimal while its negatives are slowly eroding society to the point of no recognition. I swear I'd be happy building houses or carving wood or whatever.)

Well, my dealer had an incoming Riptide 2SS convertible with MRC. Just put a deposit on it. 11-06 TPW. Hopefully will not be delayed much
