ACS Rear Rock Guards - Rubbing Rear Bumper Paint?

For those of you all running the ACS rear rock guards, have you all noticed where debris gets wedged between the guard and the rear bumper? If so, has this caused and scratches, rubbing, or damage to the rear bumper paint?

With the rear ACS guards, they are molded where the front edges sit inside the guard. So I am curious if over time, friction and movement causes damage to the paint. Has anyone taken their rear guards off before after they have been on an extended time? Was there any damage to the bumper edges?
