Just to give you an idea on how screwed up GM and Chevy logistics is right now, my salesman talked to Chevrolet earlier this afternoon and was told the car was in quality control. Meanwhile, later on this afternoon I got my weekly email from Chevy support once again saying the car has been produced and is just waiting on transport. And now with this thread it seems like the car is delayed and missing parts!

So, three different responses from GM depending on who asks. At this point, until the car has actually arrived at the dealership I won't put any faith in the order status updates given by GM.

I am in the same boat actually I received all three of the same responses! Aggravating to say the least.

Thanks again for everything you do. I should be getting close now. Last check I had an eta of monday 7/18. When you have a second can you check if im still on track for a monday eta.

Thanks again for picking up the reins on this and looking out for people. It seems like once it hits a certain point in the production process, all bets are off as far as how reliable the information one gets is. Early on it seems to be pretty accurate, but the father it moves along, the less trust you can put in what the system says.

Is this a new problem for GM (exacerbated I'm sure by all the supply chain constraints), or has this been an ongoing issue for them even before all the problems nowadays?
