Once your order hits 4000 which is “ in transit”, you should be able to see your vehicle if you go to chevy website and go to inventory. Usually “in transit” cars are in the inventory. In my case I am struggling to understand how my car is not showing up on chevy’s website. ://

Yes your order will show up on that site with your dealer info once your vehicle is listed as in-transit.

Once the dealer gets the itemized invoice from GM, does that mean shipping is typically imminent? My car doesn't have to go by rail either. Only truck. I'm only a couple hours from Lansing.

We can't get any specific details. Only your salesman can. Once produced, your car goes to several different locations at the plant before it's shipped

Update: spoke to my dealer yesterday who said that it still shows on the production line. But we still do not have a Vin..

My car never showed up on Chevy's website. Neither did a 21 Tahoe I ordered a year prior from the same dealer. I think the dealer has a way to pull it off the list.

Thank you. I pulled up the address that it was sitting at last week, which was a rail station, on Google maps. I saw 4 VOM SS 1LE's on 1 of the parking lots. I'm hoping that mine has already shipped. The photo said that it was taken 11 hours ago, but I've also heard that there is a rail car shortage or something to that effect.

I ordered from two dealers the same basic car, but I just picked up a ZL1. One is at 4V03 with an ETA of 7-6-23. The other at 4300 with no ETA.

The two I ordered were at MSRP located in the Charlotte, NC area. I have no profit from these, just passing on the cars to some one on this board. With the recent price increase, this should help out and get a 2023 fairly quick. Message me and I will send contact information. Thanks.

Cameron6.2, unfortunately the ordering system was updated by GM and the helpful dealership employees in this thread (DC Chevy Sales primarily) can no longer provide updates for orders they or their dealership did not place.
