Two owners on a near 3 year old camaro a bad thing?
I've recently found a 2017 50th anniversary at 16K miles but it's been through two owners. Should it be a big concern that a car being a 2017 have two owners? What should I be checking if I do go and check out the car?

That would scare me. But I have been in that position where I had a car for a few months and just plain old got sick of it and traded it in with very low miles. My last three trade ins had less then 2k miles.

Just check out the car like you would any other. People buy cars like this and often realize they need something more practical and end up selling it quickly. I bought my TB when it was 3 years old, and it had already been through 3 owners. Probably people that didn't like the idea of getting 12 mpg and didn't know what they were getting into. The truck has never given me any major issues over 9 years now.

I would check if there's a lien against the car. People's financial situations can change unexpectedly. Usually, this isn't an issue if its bought through a dealer though.

I would also want to see service records from a Chevy dealer on the car.

As long as warranty is in tact and price reflects the extra owner, I wouldn't worry.

Would not worry me at all. Ive kept cars that are perfect for less then 6 months if I was bored with them. Camaros and Corvettes sometime go through several owners. Always wanting something new or a new design.

Personally I would stay away from it. Super low mileage or multiple owners on a fairly newish used car scares me. I would have it in the back of my mind maybe it's a lemon or just had minor issues constantly in and out of the shop.

It wouldn't bother me at all. Just check it out like you would any other car.

Take the vin number to a dealership and run it for history service. It should tell you a lot.

Just read up on the Car Fax report for you. It did in fact have two owners, both in which gave up the car between 9-12 months of ownership. The car should have nothing wrong with it and if it did the dealership would have not bought the car from auction and maintained it. Lets say you do get the car and something happens to it, it still has warranty for 19,000. I personally would get it, the pricing and mileage is great and if you try hard enough you can get it down to 30,000 flat. Good Luck.

I’m sorry if I missed something but why do you say “Apparently it’s a lemon?” The title of your topic makes me think you’re not comfortable with the deal in the first place and need to be talked out of pulling the trigger.
