SS 1LE lug nut replacement (hate the chrome!)

Every time I see my car those damn chrome lug nuts stick out to me. I have a set of black McGards that I bought (not opened yet), but I have been looking (with no luck) for a quality silver set. Does anyone know if any company even makes silver (non chrome) lugs for these cars? All I found were titanium ones for like $400.

If I can't get non chrome silver ones, I think I'll just use my black ones and change the air valve cap to black as well. So only the actual air valve would be silver then (and I could always dip or paint them black too). All else gray or black...

Open to ideas, thoughts...

IMO, just swap out to the black ones you have.

I'm trying to picture a silver lug nut that looks significantly different than chrome but im struggling to imagine the difference, lol. Black would be sweet.

I just did this myself and will get some pics up soon. I used Gorilla 71643NBC from Summit Racing on mine and it definitely helped the look of the car!

For the record, the 71643NBC works, but it's a small conical seat. The correct Gorilla part for the OEM wheels is the 96643BDX, which has the large seat that the OEM wheels are designed for.

I prefer McGard. I had an issue with a Gorilla lug a few years ago and the companies lack of customer service lost me for good...

I had good luck with these on my C6, hated the factory lug nuts with the cheap "chrome" cover stuck on. Looks like the 1LE has the same type of nut with cover attached. If so, I hope these fit.

Stainless steel so they should hold up well.
lol... pic shows 12x1.5, but link is for the 14x1.5.
