The stock whipple tune is for a 100% stock car. Its meant to keep the car alive and running but was never intended to be a good performance tune on a car.

Its got to be a big difference in driving experience from the stock whipple tune to now, what do you think, impressions?

Can you tell when the by-pass valve is closing around 2500-3000 rpm?

Really quite impressed by your numbers. As soon as I started my fuel upgrades worked picked up and we went to 7 days a week at work, then chasing my tail with a bad starter. Nice build.

Not exactly apples to apples since it was not the same dyno. The Whipple dyno with the canned tune was with IATs approaching 140 degrees the tune was pulling 2 degrees of timing, where as this dyno IATs were just over 120 so it was a full power pull. So I think the 530 was artificially low, by how much not sure. The Whipple tune is conservative by design AFRs were in the 11.6 to 11.7 range now it is around 12.0, so the tune is a big part of it.

Not doubt a huge difference in driving experience. The rpms ramp up much faster and it pulls much harder. Tune included a transmission tune as well, so with the TQ mananagment gone it shifts firmer. Took my wife or a ride in it. She says it is scary fast now. Can't wait to get to the track.

Not sure when the by-pass valve is closing, I will need to pay attention.

Nice numbers for sure!!
Love that torque curve!

I still haven't gotten my Whipple installed but it's looking like I'll be able to get it done next month. Now I'm even more excited!

Congrats!

Solid numbers. We have installed a few already on the LT platform and they really put down some power.

Hope to hit the track this Friday night to see what she will do, It will be a somewhat decent comparison since our setups are pretty similar, although I am a M6. Ran an 11.21 at almost 117, hope to be atleast in the very low 10's, although no DR's! should be interesting!

My guess is ET will be high 10's but trap speed will pick up substantially. Street tires and a M6 are enemies when it comes to ET.
