Oil catch can after almost 5k miles
For those who don't think an oil catch works or is worth it. decided to check on mine before I get an oil change on Saturday and the catch can was almost full.

3-4oz is what mine gets in 5k miles. Some are worse.

That first picture makes it look like a lot more than the third with the water bottle. I would've been slightly frightened to see that full. Wouldn't that stop the pcv system from functioning properly if air no longer passed through?
I empty mine every few weeks into a measuring device and then use it for lube for my electric polesaw. Think i get 2-3 oz per 5k. |

I get a little less from mine, and agree it's a win-win having one. No blood, no foul. Rather have it captured there than in my intake.
