Here is, SPECIFICALLY, what THEY "said":

2.3L EcoBoost FRPP Modifications: 12.56 secs
- Performance Rear Subframe Kit
- Heavy Duty Half-Shaft Kit
- Draft Shaft Safety Loops
-Prototype Off-Road Exhaust
-Ford Racing Development Engine Calibration

- Hoosier Drag Racing Slicks (Rear)
- Weld-Racing AlumaStar Drag Wheels (Rear)
- Recaro Race Seat

...and here is, at a glance, what they left out:

- Stripped Interior

- COMPLETE Exhaust-Delete ("Prototype Off-Road Exhaust", indeed!)

- Weld AlumaStar Racing Wheels - Front

- NO ROLL BAR, therefore NO added weight being compensated for...

What's the Curb weight of that car NOW? 3,400? 3,350? LESS?

And, if they left these "minor details" out, what ELSE was added-changed-deleted? God knows...

This was STRICTLY a P.R. piece for FRPP. Any relationship to a production EB is only in the minds of those 'net warriors and extreme Ford fans...and CLEARLY illustrates the absurdity of trying to pass off a "few minor modifications" as "worthy of consideration" and "valid engineering data".

There is NO SAE spec for what they've done with these cars. BUYER BEWARE!

...which is a damned STUPID way to promote a NEW vehicle of such importance to the Ford Motor Company...

There is no definitive proof that the interior of the ecoboost mustang is completely stripped and it is a completely off road exhaust. The only interior shot is the same interior shot used for all three mustangs. There is no definite proof that the exhaust is completely stripped. It simply states Off Road exhaust and I dont remember seeing a shot underneath the car. They could be using a LTH with no cat and a simple dump. Who knows. You're putting way too much into this.

All this video does is show that ford made the right decision on going with the ecoboost over the V6. Those simple mods wouldnt have gotten the V6 into the 12s.

Well..here are a few problems with your rant..

1:the mod summaries were done by s Mustang6g member, not Ford. A few things were missed, yes, but it wasn't Ford Racing that made the oversight.

2: The cars do have a 4 point in them, you can see them thru the back window.

3. The interior wasn't gutted, the seats were removed and part of the carpet. A gutted interior goes beyond that, but I get that you're a showman doing a drama show.

4. You can see there is an exhaust system hooked up, but it isn't nearly as restrictive as anything close to a stock exhaust.

What is that graphic @ 1:49?

Just the way you'd daily-drive it on the street...or buy from your friendly FORD dealer...

1:42...NOTHING behind the Axle...

WATCH THE FORD-created VIDEO...CAREFULLY...

This, do you really expect me to break down a 3 1/2 minute video piece by piece with you?

The man is reaching like always.

You say this while boasting of an 11.77 run from a naturally asperated 5.0 with a tune and drag radials? An 11.93 run from a stock ZL1 seems unbelievable to you? It has been done by private owners (with video).

NO. I expect by now you have fully circumvented your GAG REFLEX and swallowed, WHOLE, everything FORD "showed" you as being the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing BUTT the truth, so help your God.

Bob, I've done the dirty work for you. There's only 10 seconds of your MENSA-membered mind that you need to spend verifying "WHAT IS"...and, therefore, realizing WHAT ISN'T...

By the way, sports fans, there IS a difference between "stripped" interiors and GUTTED interiors. I NEVER used the word GUTTED...did I? But it IS stripped...ALL OEM seats-tracks, partial carpet, seat air bags...GONE, to be replaced by a one-piece carbon fiber no-bag Recaro and its race-weight non-power track...which has WHAT OEM option code assigned to it?

RACE CARS being pawned off as BONE STOCK "tune 'n tire" vehicles...SHAMEFUL!

Maybe Mark Fields will have it nominated for VIDEO OF THE YEAR...in the COMEDY SECTION...

It baffles me how worked up you get over a Ford Racing video... From M/T Hellcats to now this... Certainly there are more important issues going on in your life (I would hope so anyways).

I'm just waiting until these cars are in the hands of the masses, let's see what we, the public, can do... That what matters to me. I wish you a good day sir.

For visual reference, here's what the rear 1/2 of a BONE STOCK EB Mustang and GT (right) looks like...

In EVERY rear end video shot of the Mustangs (all of them), do you see ANY evidence of this exhaust system? No.

...but NOT in yours. Your compelling need to dispel, and mock, seems to speak VOLUMES...

But it does NOT change "FACTS", or make theirs "accurate"...does it?

Good day to you, too.

I would hope you don't ever see the exhaust on the right on a S550 Mustang, that is a Boss 302 S197 underside, complete with live axle and quad exhaust.
