Put it in storage (indoor storage units run about $150/mo) and reduce the insurance to comprehensive only.
It sounds like you'll be getting another Camaro when you return. Placing your car in storage now will be much cheaper in the long run since you won't have to buy another car.

I say put it in storage. Much cheaper if you do the math.

I'm so glad I don't have to worry about getting stationed in Japan.

Why don't you take it to your duty station? The military ships cars when you PCS.

I'd put it in storage, or a friends or relatives garage.

I am building a home with a 6 car garage. You can store it at my place. I will keep it safe, clean and blow the cobwebs off it for you every now and then. Anything for our military friends. Seriously let me know.

I know the feeling. I just got rid of my babied 2010 inferno orange Camaro. My fiancé just totaled her Vibe (there's a joke in there somewhere lol) and I had to buy her something new to drive. The Chevy Malibu is a nice American made car for her. I'm really gonna miss the Camaro but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Great looking car. Off topic.....what kind of tires do you have in the rear? What size are they?
