Hero runs? How many G8 GXP's you seen run? Were not talking about the G8 GT. As noted in the thread....G8 GXP with tires, Im guessing drag radials. That puts the GXP into solid 12.8 range. Or about what the real world drivers are getting out of the ZL1. If you haven't noticed a lot of "experienced" drivers haven't got out of the 12.5 ish range in the ZL1. To include Hennessey and a few other tuning shops. |

Even at 12.5 to a 12.8 is a huge difference on the track. Your also talking worse case ZL1 vs absolute best case GXP. Try some winding mountain roads and compare the two stock vs. stock

Ok, exactly. 13.0 flat. Is it not possible to lose .2 to .5 with a good launch and DR's???? Right in the ZL1's wheel house from every single video out there?

This is like comparing the SS to the ZL1. Everyone knows the ZL1 should win unless you turn your car off when the light hits green

Do you think the LS3 with DRs and ZL1 are a driver's race?

As mentioned, its basically the same as saying a Camaro SS (with tires) vs. ZL1. But don't get the GXP confused with the slower G8 GT.
GXP is a low 13s sec car (high 12s in excellent conditions) ZL1 is a mid 12s sec car (low 12s in excellent conditions). But lots of ZL1 have been seen running high 12s - high 13s. But in the right conditons with a skilled driver, they can run very low 12s. |
