Here are some quick photos of the headers, steel looks great and welds are nice and clean noticed a few extra welds on one of the headers but overall real nice, feel a little heavier than the Kooks I had on my 5th gen. Will snap a bunch of pictures tomorrow when I can clear out the garage and mock the system up.

And here are the welds on the stainless steel MBRP axle back made in Canada...

That looks more like aluminized steel on the MBRP, I could be wrong.

That’s what I am thinking, I paid for the stainless option so need to verify

On second thought, it could be stainless. Their website says they use 409 instead of 304, which can have a much higher iron content (and less shine). I'd still check with them to be sure.

Already sent them a photo told me I had the correct item number. Was expecting more of a shine to it but no worries...now to find the time to get these things installed!

You could probably polish it, or have it polished, if you wanted to get more shine. But if you're like me, sound and life expectancy are about the only two things that really matter.

Waiting patiently for installed vids, as this is one of only two exhaust scenarios I've been throwing around

Might not be a high polish like 304. Buy that doesn't look like 409 either.

It is kinda sad that the “Cheap Chinese” stuff looks so much better than the MBRP!!! Sounds like a good reason for Speed Engineering to come up with a Axle-Back System!!!

They have a system for the 5th gens I believe. I’d venture to say that a system for the 6th Gen could be in development

I ordered their Xpipe today to fab up a system. 2” kooks headers, the speed engineering x with corsa sports. I ordered it and it was literally had a tracking number several hours later. After I get done cutting a welding a bit I’ll take some pics.
