I know you asked Sledge but please allow me to provide my answer. If the QC checks allow, shipping will begin within the three week standard Chevy (and the industry) seem to have adopted, but if there is a significant issue, the Lansing Delta Assembly Plant is just down the road.

Some starts go smooth and some do not. The Corvette C6 was smooth and the Camaro Gen5 did not. This start looks closer to the C6 and to me that is a good thing.

What week would this be according to the three week Chevy standard?

My guess is production did start the week of 10/5 this would make the week of 10/26 the three full week marker. Both Laborsmith and I seem to be aligned in thinking here... He is hopeful car's will hit 4200 or 4400 that week, my guess is the week after on Tuesday

I hope he is right

As Laborsmith said... they have a lot of room. You can clearly see here the plant layout:

If they run out of space, they can bring the run off to Lansing Delta Assembly Plant or even start to load up trailers with cars (allows them to stack cars).

Overall they have a ton of room... 3 weeks of start or production will most likely not fill their lots to max capacity. Especially with Cadillac's shipping out over sitting around.
