I have X2 Ultra and I fit it infront of radiator. Also used a quick connect tee so I didn't have to cut any hoses. Don't mind the rust on the clamps and also the dirty engine bay. I don't drive car in the winter or rain. Clamps get wet when washed so I have to look for SS clamps.

I was able to find the same quick disconnect stuff. Excited I found it.

Looks like you mounted to the fan shroud?? Is there a bolt there already? Or did you do something else.

Going to be honest can't recall, but I believe there is a bolt there already.

Thanks guys.. I know I’m gonna have to relocate the CC once the 2650 gets installed. This definitely helps. I just want to make sure it’s in there, but doesn’t interfere with mechanicals and/or cause heat issues. Much appreciated!!

I got the Quick disconnect tee from a gentleman in Canada which I saw it on a YouTube video. I'll see if I can pull up his info.

Ironically, I chose to use the MightyMouse radiator mount bracket for my E2 catch can.

I had a shop here in CT powder coat the SC lid and valve covers to match the car, and black Aluminum Ceramic coat the headers.

I was super impressed with their attention to detail and will bring future projects to them.

additional option

the bracket is the Gen 5 LS bracket from Elite, it's called hockey stick I think.

I pulled the supercharger coolant line out of the fan shroud and used that hole. I ground down a nut to go over the bolt (M6 I think) and fit in the slot of the bracket, because the slot is bigger than the bolt. it doesn't show up in the pics.
to keep it from wiggling around, a tie wrap through the upper slot of the bracket for stability (no hole up there and I didn't want to weaken the fan mount by drilling a hole)
