Will non runflats work on OEM LT1 Wheels
Its time to switch out the stock goodyears from new rubber.
Will non runflats work on the rims or do I need to stick to run flats? This is my first car with runflat tires so I'm not sure if the rims are a special design that only works with runflats. Thanks in advance |

Non-run flats will work just fine.
I recommend putting together a tire repair kit just in case: small case, tire plug kit, extra rubber sement, pliers, and vice grips. A small jack and a lug nut tool are also a good idea. I carry these things mainly when I am on a long trip. |

I guess I have gotten lucky but I've never been stranded from a flat in over 15 years of driving non runflat cars. Whenever I have sensed a slow leak i've been able to top it off enough to get to the tire shop. A fix it kit is a good insurance policy. Knocking on wood I noticed the non run flat michelins are 5 lbs lighter per corner which is a massive unsprung weight savings |
