HCI/Stall A10 transmission issue, where to start looking?

What’s up everyone. Got a really weird issue with my HCI/Stall 2020 Camaro SS A10.

Car was built by one of the top 2 most reputable LS/LT shops in the nation, I’ll leave their name out of it. Car is fully built motor(future plans on boosting it so went ahead and built bottom end and sleeved the block), 3800 circle d stall, makes close to 600 wheel on e85.

Saturday night, I made a test hit on the street as it was my first dig on this set up. Launched well below the stall speed because it wasn’t going to hook on the street launching 3500 plus. Did 2 burnouts because they first burnout pushed thru the brakes before the tires smoked, second burnout I got some people to hold the car down in the rear. Made a decent pass with no issue, but here is where it gets weird. Went to turn around and come back down the street, put the car in reverse to back up some to finish the turn, and car wouldn’t move. Put it in drive, nothing. Put it in neutral, still wouldn’t budge. Turned the car off with it in neutral and it started rolling backwards. Trans temp never got above 175

If the car sits for a while, and I start it up, it’ll move for a few feet in drive, won’t move in reverse, reverse camera comes on and all of that good stuff. If I turn it off and back on, it won’t move at all. I can’t move it very far forward because it’s up against my garage door.

Tl;Dr. Car will not move while engine is powered on, but if engine is off in neutral, it will roll. Trans never ran hot, made a pass just fine, but started acting up when trying to reverse.

Anyone else here experienced something similar with the A10? Where should I start looking. Waiting on the shop to give me some guidance as well.

Update: did a data log, and when I shift to D, it shows unknown:88. Park, reverse, and neutral all show correctly in the HP tuners log

Assuming you have the modified T87 TCM to replace a 2020+ T93? I knew of a car that had an issue with one of those, not sure how it turned out as I didn’t follow it. Sounds like a TCM issue, but that’s just a guess.

Have you had it back on a lift to make sure the fluid level is ok.

I’m towing it to a shop tomorrow to have it looked at. If it’s fluid level, I’m going to be very disappointed as transmission went out 1 day after having it back from a highly reputable shop
