For stripe options listed under "Colors" as opposed to "Exterior" from what I understand, "colors" are done at the plant and "exterior" are done at the dealer.

Hopefully the black metallic stripe I no longer want isn't painted on! Dealer wasn't describing it that way since he said changing stripes would be easy but I'm not 100% convinced he knows for sure.

I guess if my center stripe is painted on, I'll have to go with "aftermarket" spider stripes to match the length because it looks bad to me having them be different lengths... glad I caught this before taking delivery but still frustrated there was no way of telling until seeing the it in the configurator.

Didn't mean to make you worry, sorry about that. I have no experience with them on a Camaro, and always assumed they were vinyl, but just hit me today looking at the configurator that they had stripes in two separate sections and wondered why. At least if they're vinyl and you get them, you could always remove that front piece and leave the one on the hood alone.

If you want to see Vivid Orange, visit your Chevy dealer. The Trailblazer comes in that color and I've seen it.

On a different note - I ordered a Rapid Blue vert, and you can't order red spider stripes with it. But I've seen C8s with them... only GM!

I actually bought a set off eBay. Dumb me - they are for a coupe. Oh well, I am leaning toward only putting the spider stripes on the hood and they are the same.

They also raised the price on the Satin Black side skirts to over $1300! I bought a set from Shop Chevy Parts as a new customer and got them for $850! And the dealer said they will install them when they put on the other LPO items (I'll just have to pay an hour labor).
