These cars utilize a PWM pump that is controlled by a computer module (CCM/FSCM). The JMS doesn't send voltage directly to the pump. So you don't want more than 17.3 volts going to the module because it will cause it to freak out.

I had this SAME issue the other day. I had to mess with dip switch one. It was almost like on was off and off was on. I did it opposite then did it the right way and it finally took. It was VERY weird and I spent like 2-3 hours trying to configure. I was extremely angry.

Working with Ted now on remote tuning and going to the E phase. Hopefully the JMS doesn't let me down and lose its brains.

Isnt that about right? 17.3 or something. Are you saying you are going too high with voltage? And Ted's directions are crap. Configuring the JMS is a huge pain in the ass.

But once its correct, it will help a ton. on 93 only my low side was dropping to high 50s PSI. And once the JMS went in, it was rock steady all the way even with E blend.

I should clarify. I could not get my JMS to even change the voltage till I messed with it. I forget what it was stuck at. Once I got the voltage to finally allow me to change it, it took a bit for it to accept my settings.

How long is it taking to install these and get them set up? I've got one sitting in the box so just curious how much time I need to set aside to get it done.

I must be missing parts from my JMS setup. I keep seeing a reference to a Grey and a white wire that you can ground during the setup process. I don't have these wires.

And would like to thank you for your post. I followed it exactly. And it worked out nice. I did a few additional things (spliced the white line to tap in a voltmeter (which is detachable, and spliced the black and grey lines slightly down the loom so i can use the black to feed the voltmeter. and using the grey as a power line from the fuse box to power the AEM Air Fuel meter. Also using that loom to run two small lines. Thanks once again. I even ordered from Mouser international. Shipping was 50 times the price of the connectors. Awesome instructions.

Same here. I've put nearly 40K miles on my setup and haven't had a single hiccup. This thread is solid gold for an E85 setup utilizing the JMS booster.

Grey and white are connected to the JMS unit in trunk... I just did this mod to my 2023 ZL1 and I'm running E60 with no issues! Ted at JRE was instrumental in my success with the JMS and Flex Fuel portion of my mods! He did a great job tuning for Flex afterwards as well.

My Flex Fuel and JMS install starts at post #213

Thank you for your business, and Thank you for choosing JRE to be part of your build.

If you purchased it from us give us a call and we will get you squared away.

It is part of the Throttle harness at the Gas pedal connectors.
