Few pictures we took of a Hyper Blue 2SS today !

Sorry no outside pictures, it hadn't gone through PDI yet so we couldn't drive it.

Okay....are you READY....I'm back for more !

They had the PDI done today and we went and drove it and looked at in the sunshine.

I can tell you first hand....if you love this color in pictures.....it is even better in person if you can imagine that....it is every bit as metallic and chromey as it looks in these pictures !

Hi Bandit!

How did you like driving it? Automatic or manual? Did the exhaust sound amazing???

Loved it !

It was a automatic with MRC and Dual Mode Exhaust.....pretty much just like I would order.

It really was amazing....the exhaust note was perfect in all the right ways....snarling and mean when you crank it and get on the gas.....but when you got up to about 30-40 mph it quieted down a lot...no drone at all....perfection !

The handling really surprised me....when you change from sport to track it becomes a different car....the steering change was dramatic....I had no idea how much different it would be....much firmer and heavier....not what you would want driving around in a parking lot....lol....but for cruising it was nice !

The only thing keeping me from ordering one right now is how much I love my Red Rock Metallic....but I'm thinking next year in time for my Birthday in June I'm going to order one !

The blue is every bit as gorgeous as it seems in these pictures....and that is hard to believe.

I have always loved the blue on the IROC's of the mid 80's and I believe this one is even better.

Thank you!!! I know what you mean about the IROC color. The '80s model was one I wanted more than anything, but my dad wouldn't allow it. I got older and couldn't wait to get one. This will be my third and my first blue because I just couldn't pass it up. Can't wait to see it in person.

Thanks again for the awesome review!!!

Not sure I am digging those wheels with the blue. Maybe some darker with like a midnight chrome would be more fitting...

The stock silver 5 spoke really has grown on me, especially for the blue.

I like the bright silver wheels the best so far. I'm sooooooo sick of black wheels. From 20' away they look like blobs of nothing, you loose the design. Only color I like black wheels on is white, due to the contrast. One of my cars had black wheels, had them powder coated gray, so much better...in my opinion of course.

The bright silver wheels is the cherry on top of the sundae!
It is the final thing that makes the entire package, that being the hyper blue color POP and sparkle. I too, just don't get black wheels at all. There just there. They don't do anything to offset color schemes.

I know the black wheels are "in" but my 2012 Victory Red would not get all the attenion with black so my 2016 Hot Red is coming with the 56W.

Having had a 2010 Aqua Blue Metallic with the RS wheels and later putting the black ZL1/1LE wheels on it, the black makes it look more sinister. I originally had ABM with white as my color scheme...white bow ties, SS emblems, hash marks. I switched over to black bow ties, SS emblems, and black wheels (never got around to the hash marks, I just took the white off) and it made the car look way more bad ass.
