Recommend shop in Austin for ceramic coating and window tint?

Hi All,

I’m new to the forum. Ordered a 2021 ZL1 which should be here in a week or two. I’m looking to have ceramic coating done to the vehicle. Unfortunately, the car will be in an above ground covered parking garage and outside in an open parking lot. I won’t be able to clean it as often as I like, so I’ve decided this path to protect the paint from bird droppings etc.

Does anyone know of a good detail shop in or around Austin Texas to have this work done?

Appreciate the insights

I got my tinting done at Shades of Texas in Cedar Park. They also do paint film but I don't think ceramic coatings.

I use Custom-FX Tint in Austin off 35. Had the Llumar CTX ceramic tint they have installed for a couple years and have had no issues.

They do great work, get it done quickly and have good pricing.

Do the Ceramic Coating yourself. I did it to both my truck and my car. Get Gyeon Q2 Synchro from Amazon about $169. Clean car, clay bar it and then apply according to instructions. It is far outlasting it's claimed life. Take you a whole day to do it!!

The stuff that shops use is only marginally better.
