A strong margarita from my favorite Mexican restaurant always does the trick.

I use distinct strategies to get me out of this situation. First of all, I stop thinking about the reason for anxiety or depression. But if it is not possible for me to stop thinking then I prefer to sleep. Yes, in the most depressing times, sleeping is my remedy.

To avoid panic attacks or severe pains, I prefer to use cannabidiol oils without THC. Yes, they give great relief without any psychiatric disorders. In some situations, friends also call for a party but missing these outdoor parties after coronavirus pandemic.

A strong dose of 6500 RPMs. I nicknamed my Z/28 "Painkiller" for a reason.

Alcohol is a depressant and could make your situation worse.

Usually the younger you are the harder it is to deal with these situations and as you get older your coping mechanisms usually get better.

Talk to your Parents, uncle, aunt trusted friend or even your boss if you have good one.

My mantra is my spouse. The VA pretends they care and dope you up on meds and tell me that any more than 3 alcoholic beverages a week is considered alcoholism.
My wife doesnt understand what I went through in the military or what I saw, but she is there for me and says she couldnt go through what I went through during deployments after 9/11.

Not a mantra but a poem by William Earnest Henley titled Invictus.

As a full-time patient of our medical/industrial complex, I have learned not only to accept the notion of better living through pharmaceutical intervention, but to embrace it.

When I am feeling down (or up, or even slightly sideways), I reach for

Should the oceans rise
Should the sky come falling down
Should the islands tremble beneath a sea of better nature blossoms
Should the sun rain fire
Should Hell on Earth freeze over
And our enemies wait hungry
See our better nature feed them
Should the sun rain fire
Should Hell on Earth freeze over
And our enemies wait hungry
See our better nature feed and calm them

My aquarium is too small for me to have even on mantra. They belong in the ocean anyway. But I do like watching the fish that i do have in there when they are swimming around.
