Which wire is hot with ignition turned on

Hello all. Found these honey bunches of oats on the driver side in the cabin. Anyone know what they are and which is hot when the ignition is on? Thank you.

Take the ignition hot from the cigarette lighter. This could be maybe easier as from the BCM. Mostly "purple" is ignition on some points but of course this is not a guarantee on the BCM.

Would the cigarette lighter hot be under the center console?

Not normally. Your cigarette lighter would get hot IN the socket, not UNDER the center console...

But seriously, yes, the +12v lead that goes to the center console accessory outlet is hot when the ignition is on, and turns off at the end of the BCM shut down sequence. Without more detailed knowledge of what other circuits are available, this is the probably safest place to tap into, because by function it is designed for additional loads to that circuit.

Does anyone know if one of the wires shown in the OP's picture is on that same circuit?

Found it and I'm good to go now. Was for my laser shifters. Thanks!
