It didn't pan out at all. I didn't have a rider, so I got hosed... Not by USAA but by myself for not adding the rider. The policy I had with USAA only covered 5K for aftermarket accessories and that's what I got.

My insurance allows for up to $10k in add ons. it is $109 a year.

The insurance coverage was based on a stock car, not one with many costly mods.
