I personally know the guy who started that club. Turns out he’s not someone who can be trusted.

Just my two cents but why pay $100.00 to drive on a public road? Went to the tail last year with a large group from Michigan before Camarofest, it was a blast but with 700 people seems like paying to be in a traffic jam. Hope those that go have fun but not for me...

I was there at that same time. Were you with Motor City or Southeast Michigan?

And, FWIW, as much as I like to drive the Dragon, I agree wholeheartedly.

Didn’t recognize your car in the avatar.

If you line up 700 Camaros nose-to-tail, it would be a 2 mile line. The entire Dragon is 11 miles long. If you spaced them out 84 feet (about 5 car lengths), they'd stretch pretty much the entire length.

Yes, I did the rough math.

No thanks.

I agree with everyone on this. If I pay $100.00 I get two t-shirts, a plaque and some stickers so I can drive on a public road with way too many other cars. I'll pass as well.

I did drive the Dragon in 2018 with another Camaro and Corvette. We had a blast. We had low traffic so we had time to drive it up and back twice. I got a great photo as a bonus.

Anyone who has the chance to drive the roads in that part of NC/TN should do it but not as a part of a huge group.

June 4th is a Saturday.

The best dragon experience I can recommend is in the middle of the week, in the mornings. I've ridden that road a few times on my Kawi Concours, it's a different experience.

So much less traffic, so much easier to get parked for taking breaks.

Ha I did the drive with my family in my wifes SUV driving through. All I thought about was how great this would be in my Camaro.
