Wow, now that I come to think of how small that panel (held with the 4 plastic bolts) is, I'm worried that it might be too small for actual usage.

I bought that net hoping to use it for a couple of grocery bags or a couple of bottles of wine...

My 3rd gen and 4th gen camaro's didn't have trunks. They had hatch back areas that you could choose to put your T-Tops in or some small items but the 2016 has multiples more room. The opening is small but the interior space is pretty significant for a camaro.

A collapsible solution seems to be the best bet. Holds the stuff when you have it back there and can be folded flat when not for needing to hold big stuff.

Brake parts should be in the garage or some closet. Not really something you'll ever need "on the road" so no point in driving around with them.

Years ago, my uncle gave me an "organizer" that was a little flat rectangular zippered nylon case with velcro on the bottom, to keep it in place in a carpeted trunk. I assume that sort of thing is still available.

I found my 3rd gen and 4th gen were much more useful. Throw the back seat down and you basically had a wagon, albeit not a huge one, but you could fit a ton more in it it seemed.

Yep the cargo net is pretty much useless, other than storing a few cleaning supplies.

Agreed. I use mine to hold the Slime tire repair kit when I am not using the run flats.

Almost useless.

This is what I did. Swinging d-rings on car, eye hooks into storage bin and s-biners to connect the two. Easy on, easy off.

Trying to understand your picture. Can you take a picture from further away? Please. Thank you.

Yes - they exist in various configurations. I have one in the Gen 5 right now - will transfer over to the 6. Velcro bottom strips, folds in one side at a time if needed.. couple of stretchy pockets on the outside.
