New wheels and tires. I much prefer machined wheels over all gloss black.

My son was happy to take the black ones for his gen5.

Sorry, one of our dogs Django (we call him Dogbearpig) photobombed one of the pics.

Hey since it is a boat and all, I wonder if I can make use of my vessel license and take it out to the river

Not today, but first chance to post this due to forum access issues...

Took care of a warranty issue on my 2021. The driver's door bolster pad was not sitting flush at the front, leaving a small but noticeable gap. I figured it had just pulled loose, so I popped it off and tried to reinstall it. The front just refused to fit flush, so I went the warranty route and the dealer got it fixed without needing to order a replacement.

Turned out there were two sets of metal trim clips installed in the back of the bolster pad (the second set of clips were inserted in the first set) when there was only supposed to be one set of metal clips on the bolster. That has me wondering about the passenger side - but since that looks fine, I am not going to pull it off just to satisfy my curiosity.

That is so weird. I just had a similar experience when I installed the illuminated sill plates on my SS. I did the driver side first and didn't bother to notice they they came with new clips already attached. After snapping them down, I just couldn't get it to sit properly. After about 10 minutes I realized that the new clips were seated into the old clips. Senior moment.

Washed up this black beauty yesterday. Also polished the tips, got the wheels inside and out, and dressed the tires. Hit 2,023 miles on Friday as well
