Question Question for 1LE guys

How are the hood & mirrors done on 1LE's? Are they painted body color & wrapped black, or is it actually matte black painted?

Hood is flat black vinyl wrapped, mirrors are same as splitter and rear diffuser...black paint, not super glossy, but not flat like hood, maybe a satin or egg shell.

Thanks, so if the hood ever got marked up you could just get it wrapped again. I know I've seen on bikes the flat can be a real bitch if it gets marked up or stained.

Yes you can. It is also painted underneath, so I suppose you could just take it off.

Exactly... Mine is full paint under, I was originally thinking that the wrap would be a pain, but realistically it is easy to re-wrap a hood and so if I ever mess it up I'll just wrap it again.

Really dig this car!

Matte black vinyl on hood.
Satin black paint on splitter, mirrors, spoiler and diffuser.

* All four grille inserts, and hood vents are molded gloss black, incase you're curious.
