Pray Performance or GPI for bolt on 6th gen remote tune
What’s y’all 2 cents on who y’all think is better and why ? Can’t decide from either or I’ve heard amazing things from both ! A lot of videos on “track” and out at Mexico both tuners get these cars moving ! I also want it to be fast but also reliable . Let me know who y’all would go with or who y’all have gone with and why ?

Both are good. GPI might be more responsive. Pray is solid but takes forever to respond due to being back logged. The problem in the Gen 5 LT world is there is such a lack of good tuners/shops, that the good ones are back logged with work.

As noted already, I think both are good. I hear GPI is faster on response, and Brett is a really busy guy all the time.
I am Pray remote tuned. He was very accurate and good to work with. Did my mods in two stages. End result, car is well mannered and "stock like" at under 1/2 throttle. After that, it's just a beast. So I am a happy customer. I track, and his mods and tune have performed flawlessly for me in those settings as well. |

I've worked with both closely and had Pray (Brett) work on a couple of my cars. GPI was great, responsive and they have an actual shop/crew to get work done on a tidy schedule. Their results are incredibly competitive with Pray's. Brett, on the other hand, is perpetually slammed. The poor guy is forever inundated with work but, that's because he's one of the best out there. If you can be patient with him, he will absolutely take your car to whatever level you want and exceed your expectations. He is now working with a shop called Prodigy to get a lot of his in-house work taken care of and he's also hired someone to help take some of the workload of his head porting off of him. So, he's making strides in that department.
Ryan at GPI or Brett at Pray will both have your car screaming and hurting feelings. Neither one of them will remote tune a stock bottom end LT1 w/ boost but, Pray will tune a factory supercharged car if you ask him to.

I was initially tuned by Pray, then switched to GPI.
I am only FBO. With pray, he got me the intial tune real quick, but there were no revisions. He basically said it was bang on. This was with intake side done only. Then I added castless 2 inch headers, sent him another log with his initial tune. He said it was bang on again. It took him 2 months to tell me that. So, I got zero revisions from beginning to end even after adding headers in between the first and last log. I got returned by GPI, got 3 revisions with no parts swaps in between. Revisions came within 24 hours. Let me tell you though, looking at the logs, Pray added a degree or two more timing than GPI did and niether had anything register from the knock sensors. My car might've been faster with Pray based on that but it might be been slower. I couldn't tell the difference, but the GPI tune definitely worked better on rev matching. Prays tune would sometimes hang the revs way high when shifting out of gear at low speed. |

Sport and Track you will see that more often. Where as Touring mode is designed to lower RPM's as a priority.

I can’t speak in regards to Pray. I have my car built and tuned by GPI and am very happy.

He's got an m6. The revhang and rpms when down shifting in different modes and nothing like an automatics. Rev match is rev match in all drive modes.
