I just installed a Flowmaster Outlaw Axle back , very little drone, and the sound is loud................

Exactly! I agree 100% with you. If you want a loud exhaust, it's going to drone. If you get a more mild one, it won't be as bad. I had JBA's Long Tubes with their Hi-Flows and 3" catback and it drone like a SOB. The J-pipes helped out quite a bit but it was still there, and it quieted the system down a little too much for my liking. Now I have the Outlaws and they're perfect. They do have a slight drone, but its more of an exhaust noise than the head pounding reverberation that the JBAs made. If you want loud + no drone, straight pipes all the way!  With all that said, I never had ANY drone problems with just a catback system. It was once I added the headers and hi-flow cats did the drone issue come up.

Love the sound of flow master but really love the no drone of corsa and no j pipe or what ever that extra lbs is called.
