UPGRADING BYPASS VALVE???

I have a p1sc with a standard proflow valve now, I wanna upgrade top the red race valve. Will I need to retune after this? Are there any other benefits other than dumping the pressure quicker? I've heard boost comes on faster

How much boost are you running? With a P1SC-1 I seriously doubt it is worth the cost to upgrade. Procharger does have the bullet open valves. You don't need the big red race

While Procharger will never agree, personally form me their stock Proflow surge valve is junk. It has huge gaps around the butterfly and it is known that it causes boost leaks.

I put a Tial 2" Q50 on my 17 SS 1LE with a D1SC and loved it. Boost came on sooner than with the Proflow Valve. The only other valve I might consider is the new Procharger Big Red as supposedly it can flow more air than what 2 Tial Q50's can flow.
