I just purchase the oil pump. The part number is M365. It only cost me 120$ with 20% off at advance auto parts.

Would the oil pressure increase by eliminating the dod lifters and putting the ls3 valley cover?

I did not change my pump. I did not see any change in oil pressure. I believe the DOD blocks the oil to the lifters so they become inactive.

The L99 Oil pump is VERY good. Unless you have high mileage, I’d keep it. When I did the GPI cam setup, Ryan (Rhino79) said keep the L99 oil pump (I had 39k miles on mine).
