What’s your last new Camaro going to be?

GM has been silent about the future of the Camaro, even though Ford has told its suppliers the Mustang will continue with a 7th-generation beginning in 2023 and running for 8 years. With no official news from GM - and obvious signs like reduced options availability already happening, no rumors or sitings of prototype or test mules of a 7th-generation Camaro and GM’s announced intention to become an all-electric car company - it seems pretty certain the Camaro is about to die a second death. So, as a Camaro enthusiast, are you going to order one more 6th-gen to keep “forever?” What’s it going to be?

I think I already have what will likely be my last Camaro, unless something changes (like they actually come up with a next gen)

My 2017 ZL1 is probably the last musclecar I plan to buy/own. Of the 6 Camaros I have owned over the last 38 years, it is the best of all of them hands down!

Probably a ZLE would be my last one.

If this is the last generation, then this Camaro will likely be my last NEW one. I would like to order a ZL1 before this generation ends, but thinking forward I need to focus my efforts on saving for my boys' vehicles and college. I will likely end up with a used ZL1 or just dumping money into my SS in the future.

I’m trying to decide between both ends of the Camaro performance spectrum:

1. LT1, because it fits one of my favorite muscle-car scenarios - big engine in a low-option car (e.g., LX 5.0, Road Runner, etc.).

2. ZL1, because it’s the top of the Camaro lineup.

Go with a ZL1 and you won’t regret it! I have had both, a 2016 2SS and a 2017 ZL1, and the best one to me is the ZL1!

I'd love to have a "spare" SS to keep for the future. Sadly have nowhere to store it and my '19 only has 7300mi. I hope to keep this one for a long time.....and hope in 10yrs, there's still a Camaro SS to possibly replace it with if desired. But for now, still in awe of how great this car is.

That's like a $30K difference in Camaros. If you can afford a ZL1 without breaking a sweat.....why not. But if you have to "figure out the finances (aka....put up for sale 1yr later and take a fat loss", I'd go LT1 in a heartbeat. Lightest of the V8s and you can always upgrade the tires.

2021 ZL1 only because I've never had a forced induction anything and I want to be done with these type cars in ~3yrs...tired of mucking around with sets of tires and gas and impracticality of them once I break ~52 years old

My 2019 2SS will be my last... unless they do come out with an electric. If I get an electric car, I would like it to at least look and sound like a Camaro. That would be better than any electric car I've seen so far (the Nikola Badger has a very real Colorado look to it - the only electric vehicle I've liked the look of and it doesn't really exist yet).

My 18 SS is likely my last. With that said and this is my opinion if they don't make a 7th gen and just decide to maybe build the 6th gen a few more years it would be a nice boost to see a few more engine options. Maybe drop the 4 banger and go with a V6 option and then the LT1 with the standard 455hp engine then the SS have the LT2 with the 490 HP and the ZL1 as the top of the line.
I know I'm gonna hear from the GM can't afford to do this crowd and that and all that is BS !! If Ford and Chrylser can give all the engine options and such GM can. I call Bull when one says they can't find a way and a priceline to do it.
If GM wants to save the Camaro they can.
IMO this would be a way to boost sales and maybe just maybe give life to what seems to be dying.
Again JMO
