How are these tires for everyday driving. I do not track...

Discount tire currently have the extreme contact sports listed at $1,256.00 for the whole set so you can probably try to have them price match.

Well said...and in agreement, I'll stick with GY, I recently picked up new set from new car ZL1 owner at great price, 400.00$ off price from Tire Rack, tires have 20 miles ...it's no brainer. I have 8k miles on my 2019 ZL1, thinking I may get this summer and half of 2022 on my original tires, then mount these.

I drive mine too! It has almost 19,000 miles and is on its second set of GY F1 Supercar 3s.

If the SC3 had any hydroplane resistance, at all, I'd buy another set of them in a heartbeat. I could probably make it work with a different situation I'm in now but previously there were too many times I needed to be somewhere in a rain storm on the highway at those speeds and i couldn't make it because the SC3 tired to kill me >40mph.

I freely admit that I got caught that in these times not everyone is making a hydroplane resistant tire, I just didn't know.

Yeah I definitely understand and can relate that you really have to be extra careful driving in the rain or on wet roads and most of the time I just about get run over by the speeding and tailgating idiot drivers when I’m driving slower in those conditions.

I am currently using contis on my ZLE for the street. They are way more drivable and harder wearing than SC3s (used them on my old SS 1LE) and the SC3R. I can also actually drive in the rain if necessary. And I hear way fewer pebbles being tossed around.

I have a second set of wheels that I am going to use for the track with SC3Rs. I'm waiting on a Leroy Engineering trailer to be delivered so that I can swap at the track.

If you are looking for street use I do recommend the Contis.

Really love this tire. Continental's all-season tires typically offer good traction on both wet and dry roads. They are designed with a balanced tread pattern to provide dependable grip, enhancing your vehicle's handling and stability in various weather conditions.
