We know about the 1LE and ZL1.
There is absolutely no reason to believe the Z/28 has a LT1 or LT4. Would be an epic failure. If there was no 1LE (and the last z/28 wasn't so legit), sure. |

Dgthe3 is right.
All gm has said (via tadge juecter) is that a big inch LT1 couldnt meet the power goals of the Z06 while meeting emissions requirements. Does a 6th gen z/28 need 650hp n/a? Probably not. I am sure a mild sleeved/stroked LT1 could put out another 75hp and meet regs no problem. Having said that, I think i heard blower whine too. |

Anyone saying they hear a blower in that video, is the equivalent of saying you heard a mouse fart during a thunderstorm.

You know, sometimes when I listen to it I hear something that could be a supercharger then I will replay it while turning the volume up and not hear it.

I thought there were some reliability problems associated with the LS7?

Listened to it again and it does sound just like the supercharger that is in the ZL1 Camaro, so I am going to have to go with LT4 though with a different exhaust.

Devils advocate......
In the ZL1 spy videos we didn't just see the ZL1 but also the 1LE car in those videos, is it possible that they are testing the Z/28 with both a LT4 and with a normally aspirated engine in it as well (hash marks vs no hash marks)? |
