Plasti-dipped the rims and used glossifier. Love the look.

Ordered a Stainless Works cat-back (thanks Apex Motorsports!) and a Roto-Fab CAI. Looking forward to installing them both!

Installed Polk Momo component set in doors, mounted amps and processors but no time to finish wiring all that up- so still running off the stock BA amp until the weekend.

how much improvement was the door speakers upgrade, as well as difficulty of install?

Door speakers were so easy it's criminal. I got the speaker adaptors from Crutchfield. The only odd thing was the Polk tweeters obviously aren't a direct swap for the originals, so I epoxied them into the stock housings angled towards the listening area so hopefully the imaging will be ok.
The polks require a LOT more volume to put out the same sound as the originals- and I noticed the originals are 2ohm. Anyway- that'll be resolved with a REAL amplifier running off an AudioControl LC7i feeding front channels through an AudioControl ESP-2. What I'm struggling with is the kicker GM amplified sub is actually quite good but won't work unless I bypass the internal amp etc. I'm thinking I might be better off getting just a regular passive 10" and wood box. Conflicted.

I walked by mine and just looked at it. Bought it two weeks ago and have only put about 300 miles on it. Great thing about having a take home car for work is the miles stay down on the Camaro.

Waiting for mine to come out of the shop at the dealership. Needed some trim parts replaced before my warranty expired and brought it in for the 5th time for top issues. they called me after 11 weeks and told me it was done. I went to pick it up, and absolutely nothing had been done. it had been sitting outside all this time. they never even ordered the parts. needless to say, I got pretty loud in the service department, and their customers got a little frightened. we are now on week 13, and I got a call stating that my parts were in and to bring the car in.....really? its still freaken there. so now im drafting my letter to alicia.bolerdavis@gm.com, alan.batey@gm.com, dan.ammann@gm.com, and of course mary.barra@gm.com.
