Clunk from rear of car when accelerating from coasting

I tried searching but did not find anything that seems to fit my issue.

Does anyone else have this problem? When I'm coasting, not on the gas or brake, often times when I get back on the gas I get a clunk noise from the rear of the car. By often I mean at least a few times every time I drive somewhere, can be dozens of times for a longer trip. Going down hill coasting and then accelerating seems to always bring it on. It's like there is play in the driveline to the rear of the car. If I brake hard I'll often hear the same noise on the downshifts.

Had a dealer look at it and they told me it is driveline lash and normal. Per their explanation, Chevy recommends no fix for this and that it is "normal". The car did not have this problem when I bought it and it seems to be getting slowly worse. I also hear the same noise shifting from park to reverse to drive or any combo of reverse to drive/drive to reverse.

I just wanted to see if this is common and if anyone found a fix. Between this and the transmission shudder, I am not really impressed with this car anymore, which is disappointing because I love this car.

Not common at all. Are you still under warranty?
