Track Insurance
I'm going to Daytona next month nd think I'm going to get track insurance due to the speeds (and mostly walls to hit if there's an issue. lol)
I haven't gotten it in the past for any other events but honestly given the nature of how fast it is there, and as itll be my 2nd time there, and am going to work on being faster, I think its a good idea. Do you guys have a preferred carrier? I priced it up with RLI and its $245 for the event. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, Pat |

I've always used Lockton Affinity as do many of my friends. Reputable and professional.
Easy to deal with in the event of a claim based on feedback from multiple folks since I've not had a claim yet (knock on wood!). |

RLI is good. You can price out Lockton as well but I think they are all close to each other in pricing.

I would definitely get it. I think I paid 225 for agreed 40k value with Hagerty last time I was there. It's all track incident dependent. Like barber has been the cheapest insurance for me at 175, but then a few wrecks happened (not my wrecks, but other peoples) and went up to 225

Open Track has best rates and I had buddy who had no issues with them paying his claim.

Just FYI Haggerty resells RLI track insurance. I've used RLI. Very easy to deal with. I haven't had any claims, though.
