Well, they are the same company and both are Chevrolet, at least for now.

In picture they have similarities. But when you see both cars in person the differences are as far apart as can be. The Vette tail looks soo much better, wider, more aggressive, sleek, etc.

It looks like an anvil fell on the back of a sixth gen. Not sure why they think basing the C8 rear end on the already polarizing style of the poorly selling 6th gen Camaro is a good idea, but it follows the same polarizing style of most of their new vehicles.

Not feeling the exhaust tips on the C8. Otherwise it doesn't look that bad. Builds on the C7

I like the look of the 'Vette from that view except the exhaust pipes. They don't have powerful or masculine look to them judging from the photo shown.

I think I need to see the whole thing before I make a judgment call.

One may not like it or argue with the lines, but it definitely is a consistent design, at least as far as I can see from this low quality spy shot. This rear end design clears trivial obstacles, avoids amateur gaffes and enters the territory of subjective taste with ease.

What about the black mesh "vents"? They look to be not functional. If that's the case, that is disappointing. Don't want to say it, but the current gen civic has those

Those vents better be fictional. There’s no way they’d tack on huge fake vents. We’ll see!
