Rather expected result imo. Refreshed GT350 may prove to be a more difficult opponent tho (for a lot more $). Most surprised that both cars bested M2 Competition by a large margin. Yay pony cars!

The Alpha based 6th Gen was about a generation ahead of the 2015 Mustang in terms of platform dynamics. Ford has worked to close the gap by upping the power and now addressing the off-handling of the GT. They are still a bit behind but closing in.

Mustang and Camaro fans (challenger/Charger too) may get after each other but the competition between them is great for everyone that enjoys American performance cars.

Because going slower is more fun.

I mean, I guess when you consider that in the Mustang you get to enjoy more time on the track...
