Borla Camaro ZL1 Catback Atak Exhaust with NPP (Dual Mode Exhaust)
For sale is a Borla Atak Catback Exhaust off of my Camaro SS 1LE. It is the ZL1 version but fits the same on the SS. It is the NPP version, so it has the dual mode exhaust which will allow you to change the loudness of the exhaust with your car if it came with the NPP from the factory.
If you look in the last and second to last picture, you can see where I had a fab shop add to the borla Exhaust. This will allow you to remove your entire stock exhaust without cutting it. It separates between the primary and secondary catalytic converters (this setup thus removes the secondary catalytic converters which really serve no purpose other than emissions and you will not need a tune). I am willing to separate the fabbed up part from the borla portion if necessary. $1800 for everything. $1600 for the borla portion. $200 for the fabbed up piece. I'll pay up to $100 of the shipping cost. You can see how much the borla atak exhaust sells for new and you can see how it looked installed in the last pics. Can also send videos of how it sounded if you would like to hear it! |

Op - not sure if you know - but that “fabbed up portion” (I.e secondary cat delete pipes) - that alone someone would pay $4-500 for. Just trying to help you.

I sent a PM about the test pipes the day it was posted, but have yet to hear back.

Is this setup still for sale? I need to know shipping cost to 95503? Or if you provide weight and box dimension and your zip code I can figure it myself as well.

If the axle back was purchased I’d be interested in everything forward of it. I’m a few hours away in Clemson SC

Out of curiosity, how quiet is it in stealth mode?

I prefer not to wake the kids up when I take the Camaro to work at 5am.

Cold start will be loud no matter what, even stealth mode won't be muted like, say, a quiet V6 engine in an SUV.
Disabling catalyst warmup in the tune altogether may achieve this, it'll basically turn cold starts into "warm starts" in that it gets rid of the initial bark (whose purpose is to put heat into the catalytic converters quickly). Needless to say, however, it's a calibration change, I for one wouldn't do it just for quieter starts, but then your car is a 2016, your powertrain warranty has probably expired anyway.
