Interesting data, it's about where I was expecting it to be at. Look forward to seeing what it does with cam/heads/etc as that will be the true "mark" of it's potential. Good stuff.

Wouldn't get too wrapped up in "this dyno reads x" as Sorian's dyno tends to read on par with a proper loaded SAE DynoJet and more importantly the other 6th gens he has done trap appropriately for the dyno number.

IAT's I am sure are fine on the dyno. What happens in a full pull in 3rd+ gear on an average temp day will tell the story. I am not saying you will have issues just stating that even an extremely inefficient LT4 blower cars IAT's will probably look good on a single gear dyno pull.

I got a lot road time behind it today.. if you go by numbers on paper then its probably better to port your stock blower.. but, after driving it around today it was well worth the money I can't feel any bogging anymore, the power is just as instant as before and the plus side it doesn't feel like its out of breath towards to end of the powerband. I think the best thing is it felt easier to drive and shifts seemed easier.. I love the whine it seemed like the OEM you could hear more in the 4000 rpm range this one is whining instantly until the exhaust over powers it. The power felt the same all the time car hot or cold I dont think you would have those results overspinning and porting the stock. I wish there was someone in the area that could do a few runs with me. Someone just pulley'd and ported..

I may be able to arrange a couple of runs with a '17 that is pulley'ed and ported. But he also has cammed plus runs a e85+93 blend + meth. Shoot me a PM if interested.

And LT4’s making 820 on 93. What sucks is he would have to take his 1LE aero off and buy drag wheels or be totally persecuted and have to here what a lesser car ran that was better outfitted. Might even need a cage. I guess I am the lone guy on here that thinks dynos are an ok measure of power and track times can be hard to come by in street trim.

I'm not really a 1/4 mile person my goal is handling and not being embarrassed to bad by a 720s on a roll.. so far I've been able to handle a 458 and a hurrican perfamonte the 720 looks like a whole nother level... 3300lbs 700 rwhp and formula 1 gear box with the quickest shifts known to man or processor I should say.

Looking good. I’m guessing this was the 700whp pull with the Vararam intake? Was this on a Mustang dyno? Interesting that you said the high side pressure took a hit.

A few other questions:
-What size throttle body is needed for this blower, or can the stock TB be used?

-Wheel horsepower wise on a Dynojet, what do you think the safe fuel limits are for the ZL1 running this blower?

-Why go to an upgraded cam first when you can run a fully ported fuel system and not run into fuel limitations?

Thanks for documenting your progression.

This is a Mustang so it would be over 700...the stock TB would be fine if your buying in stages.. It proves there is no 1 number a pump is good for. The intake is the key if not doing a cam.. the stock TB and Vararam intake would be perfect with no fuel drop but with a 103mm and the tune version intake no way..

Testing the so called big gulp in 2 weeks but we think its proven that 5 inch is not the sweet spot.. and the area that it pulls from cant support 4000cfms anyhow.

Took car to Sorians yesterday for the cam, LPE pump, injectors, and heads.. it looks like we may port the snout to accommodate a 112mm TB and to clean up the snout area.

If wasn't doing a cam I would be happy with the 2650, snout work, a 103mm, a good intake, the big bore pump and aux pump. This would most likely get ya to 750. The other thing all parts would be good if you changed your mind on the cam. This is a different 750 than over spinning the stock blower to 750.. timing is around 16 something vs 10 needing meth..

850 on 93 and 950 on e85 doing it all with upgraded parts that fit in the stock location is what I was shooting full.. adding the port injection the extra controller, extra tuning just seemed to complex and hassel.. for the A10 guys the cars all ready in the 9s

Even with what I've done so far for reference my wifes ss could hang with my zl1.. now it's not even close the power on the paper represents nothing.
