wheel offset

I am looking at fk ethos lx-52. They list two different offset 20x9 and two different offset 20x10.5. The 20x9 are 18 or 35 and the 20x10.5 are 40 or 20. Which would be the better fit 20x9 for the front and which would be the better fit 20x10.5 in the back?

The better fit is the 20x9 18et and im just answering because i can only choose 35et or 18et your factory wheel is a 25et
we tried a 35et when the car was released and it hit the strut
so yes 18et will be best.

for the rear do the 40et . the 20et will stick out so far out the fender that youll need mud flaps.

these are offset 15 and 35....they are right at the fender edge, and do not stick out. A 3 MM spacer was made on the rears to get them exact on the rear fender edge.

Wheels: Niche "Targa" - machined face
20 x 9 front - offset 15
20 x 10.5 rear -offset 35 + 3 mm spacer
Nitto Invo Tires - 275/35/20 & 295/35/20 - (not run flats)

Hi.

The Niche wheels Glen has listed are the ones he has on his Car.
The pictures he posted of those Niche wheels on the Car....are actually His Car.

So, what you see is what you get.

Those Niche wheels with those measurements on that Car will look just like that.
But if you bought the Niche wheels you won't get Glens car with them.
That has to be purchased separately.

Yeah I figured that but I'm not looking to buy those wheels. The wheels I'm looking at have a different offset than his. That's Why I asked if they would sit similar.

Ok.

So your offset compared to Glens would have your front wheel in 3mm and your back wheel 8mm in. You could add a small spacer like Glen did to get it a little closer.

I think it will look fine.

Glen, why did you use the 3mm spacer on the rears? Were the spokes hitting on the caliper?

Nothing was hitting....

Usd for Two reasons: the primary was Because I have used the 3 mm spacer before and you don't have to mess with your Lugnuts. Your stock Lugnuts and lugs work fine. And it just pushes it out just a bit more to get it perfectly equal to the fender line. The other reason is the center cap pushed on ok, but I wanted to put a millimeter or two between the center And the actual axle hub when you push the cap on. I did this on the 13 SS too. Easier than grinding down the axle end a bit.

I also chose to 275/295 tires because they look good, and I don't need the biggest, baddest, fattest tires that possibly may rub.

If you want to figure out offsets, Bradford Camaro is correct. You just have to use common sense. Use mine as a baseline, and realize that one millimeter is .039 inches. It's not much so you can figure out from my pictures whether your offset is different than mine, how much it looks different , by just judging the pictures. for example, The difference between 18 mm and 20 mm is not something you need to even worry about. I wish people when they post pictures of their wheels would put all the details, but most people are not interested in helping others. They just want to put pictures of their car up on the forums......

If you are buying wheels online certainly it's best to go with somebody who as worked with the 16 Camaro before, like MMR or HRE. I buy all my wheels local from a huge wheel company here in Fort Lauderdale that stocks all the stuff I want to try. My wheel guy really understands offsets and backspaces. I hsve bought 6 sets of wheels from him over the years.

I know the offsets, I actually sell wheels and tires for a living. I just couldn't figure out why with your offsets you'd use a 3mm offset spacer. I'll use the spline drive lugs on mine and I'm going to do a 10 on the rear with 305-35's and 9's up front with a 245-40 or a 265-35. I'm still going to lower mine and I want to keep everything tucked. Not interested in the wheel sticking out to far. My car already has dozens of chips on each side in front of the rear tires and it sucks.

Would you use a spacer on the front if the offset is 35 and not 25
