I'm OK with the push button start but in the car I had before the Camaro, 2006 Infiniti coupe, you didn't use a key but you had a switch to turn. That was a better way to handle it, I think. I'm sure they don't do it that way any more.

Evidently a high-performance Escalade is coming.

Be wary: for Cadillac, those words don't seem to mean the same thing as they used to.

I find it odd all this top secret info about product lines being cancelled and supposed model varrients like this lt4 Escalade have come from the same click bait web page that was unheard of before recent. It's my opinion but I feel they are creating web traffic while grasping at unicorns.

I'm of the same opinion honestly. Nobody heard of that site until the GMC Jimmy rumor, then they came out with the 7th gen rumor and now everyone's citing them.

I think they're just fishing and hoping they get lucky honestly, all of the supposed news coming out of that site isn't too far-fetched. We know GM has been considering a RWD BOF SUV for GMC, we know 6th gen sales haven't been too hot so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that GM has reconsidered its future, and there have been rumors of a Escalade-V ever since the last gen model. If just one of those rumors comes to fruition then you can bet they'll be trumpeting from the rooftops that they were correct.

Well this is something I haven't really seen before. Its a Colorado mule for a Ford product. Pretty cool...just bummed its not an actual mule for an upcoming GM mid-size truck lol.

http://gmauthority.com/blog/2019/07/...comment-833944

The speculation is that it is for the upcoming Bronco, or maybe even the small Courier truck that Ford might be making...who knows. GM Authority seems pretty convinced it is the Bronco, but to me, they should be much farther along with Bronco development than to be using a mule like this, unless they really just want to get the chassis out there for some hard road testing, and not use the actual body with cladding all over it.

Looks like just a new front fascia.

Hoping maybe they have a different engine behind it...

Saw that. Having a hard time believing it will happen on the T1XX platform. Current K2XX Escalade weighs in around 5,700 lbs without carrying enough battery to move it for 400 miles. Subtract mass of powertrain, driveline and exhaust and add back in batteries and you’re probably over 7,000 lbs. Physics works hard against this one.
