Tall vs short tires

So if anyone has any experience please help. Going from a 28 inch tire down to a 27 make enough acceleration difference to feel on the butt dyno?? Camaro ss

Depends on the tire but you will deffinetly experience wheel spin and will have to adjust your heavy foot accordingly. Ive run 26 -30" tires on the ss and prefer the 29 with my setup. NA id likely go smaller

About the same impact as keeping the 28" tires and changing the rear end gearing from 3.73 to 3.87 (if such a rear end ratio were available).

So a little more info. I have the toyo r888rs in a 315/30/20 its like 27.5 but is just a little taller than that in realialty taller than the stock run flat. Got a best of 3.9 0-60 put on the firehawk 500 in 285/35/20 for every day. this tire is very narrow but I got a best of 4.1 0-60 I love these firehawks. smooth quite and supriseing traction.
So heres my delima the 285 is narrow and tall at about 28.2 real world only 8 in tread width, thinking of going to the 295/30/20. Should gain an inch in tread width but only 27 in tall. What to do?
So I really like the look of the 285 but would the 27in look good or tiny?
Would the 295 incres the butt dyno feel being about 1 in shorter? I would give a little on the look for a better feel.
Would I loose 0-60 with the shorter but wider tire?
Any input would be very much appericated. Car is basic stage 2 procharged ss as the only mod.

Speedometer was corrected for all runs. With the procharger its hard to get good 60 times because so much power spins more.
