Mt 305-45-17. I used to have to turn off traction control because it lit up my dash. Recently even before taking it to get the cam and work done i didn’t have to turn it off since the light never came on. But I did take some air out the fronts

That size drag tire is the same dia as OEM. Sounds to me like it isnt a tune or tire issue. It was likely coincidence that it seemed to happen or get worse by switching. From your description it is (or was) getting worse regardless of what you did.

So what you think it might be then ? I mean it’s a day and night difference. I would’ve felt or noticed if it began doing that way before.

It’s not the same size as the 1LE tire. 1LE tire is an inch shorter than the SS tire

OP i bet youre changing just the rear wheels?

It’s stability and traction control. It takes a bit of driving for it to settle and bc you switch back and forth the computers somewhere in the middle. some say it’s dangerous. You should swap to 28” fronts to match the rear to avoid all this.

Wouldn’t it give me a light on my dash if it was stability and traction control?

Ive not seen stability and TC cause the throttle to open more, only close it for torque mgmt. I highly doubt its ESC or TC. But I've been wrong before.

My money is on a wiring issue thats been progressively getting worse.

Ive experienced the issues with torque mgmt due to wrong tire sizes first hand. It was nothing like what OP is describing.

So good news. I put my stocks rims put 35psi on all four flashed my old tune I had before the cam and it ran good besides the stalling and stuff no more surges on the tb

Flashed my cam startup tune and it started doing it again, so I reflashed old fbo tune and problem gone again

Someone has responded to your thread on the HPT site. That person seems to know their stuff. I'd dig a little deeper with them. They seem to think the problem is in the tune. From your last couple of posts here, it does seem likely its the tune and not tires or wiring like i originally thought.

While I disagree with GPIs overall approach on tuning, their sheer volume of tunes would make me think they’d know if what they did would cause these issues.
