A8 rev up after hard excel

So i got on it today to about 60 and got off the gas. Trans shifted back down but then all of a sudden it revved back up to a little over 3k rps. Kinda felt like it was stuck in a gear

Anyone else have this issue?

Only had the revs stay up when in performance shift mode after getting on it in sport or track.

You went into "perfromance shift mode"..... it will down shift a gear aggressively as the speed decreases.... enigine braking..... normal....

I've had this happen a few times when I seem to left off the gas then back on quickly. I found neutral will quite the beast down immediately, then back into drive to continue the fun.

Yep, tap of the gas pedal 2-3 times will also trigger the high rev.
