Which style for the wheels/rims?

Here's an incredibly terrible 2 second ms paint rendering of 2 different styles on the wheels.

I don't want all black because it just makes me think of a spare, unless the car is darker (still makes me think of a spare it just looks better on a darker car to me. Just my opinion folks!) Nor do I want all silver or chrome.

SO... Which looks better to you all?

#1 Top pic with pinstripes? Or #2 bottom pic with a polished lip?
Again, I don't just want all black, so that's why I didn't add it in the poll.

Personally it would be non of the above. But if I have to choose, #1.

Pic 2 looks like you are running whitewall tires and definitely not the look for a SS in my honest opinion. It’s your car so do what you like and makes you happy.

I would paint the brake calipers white and leave the wheels black

I'm with some of the others suggesting that you leave 'em black. If you don't like the all black look, you can always paint/buy new wheels. Shouldn't be hard to find some stock silver take-offs on CL or FBM.

....if ya wanna do something white on those wheels, how about something like the Redline edition wheel stripes, only in white??? ...or as mentioned, do something with the calipers. On a white car, you could paint those calipers ANY color you wanted and it'd look good. -or just paint 'em black and get white CAMARO decals to put on em. Or both! Red or shock yellow calipers with the white "redline" stripes would look pretty cool, AND, no one else would have 'em done like that!

Food for thought.

#1 is just butt ugly and doesn't fit the Camaro. And # 2 would even look better without the White Wall. Bottom line is keep the stock 5 spokes stock. Its the best looking no nonsense rims on the 6th Gen.

You could also put white lettering on the tires. They stick real good.

#2 is the way to go. It's what I have on mine, except my car is red hot so I ordered it with the factory red line wheels. Really just adds to the whole look of the car. I would consider adding the black camaro fender badges as well for another accent.

Has anyone changed their mind from the polished lip to the pinstripe due to the recent picture I posted above? Or do 70% (of the one that actually voted. Thank you again by the way) still prefer the lip?

I like the lip. It's a clean look on a white car and makes it look like you're riding on air. And it'll look just as good in motion as standing still.

Just an update on what I finally went with (no pics at the moment due to a recent family passing). I went with all black wheels and white calipers. Thanks to Jaxcam02 (being the first) and the others that mentioned that for the idea. Thank all of you for the suggestions and votes.
