Experience with a tire patch after having used "Slime"
After taking another nail Saturday considering my options. Slime claims to wash out with water and to be used no more than 3 days. What's real world experience been when taking it in for repair? Do shops balk at the clean up? refuse to patch? It's not a great option if there's disdain for it when taken in for a patch repair. In the olden timey times fix-a-flat and those style sealants were not looked upon favorably in tire shops if memory serves. Different products, but...

I know it makes a mess but they should be able to clean it out no problem. Get a patch from the inside and have it rebalanced.

Pretty sure let them know it’s been slimed first. Some surprises suck.

They will clean and patch but TELL THEM! Then they can be aware and take precautions
