How was the install of the wing? Does it mount to the trunk lid flush, like OEM? The reason I ask is I have purchased others only to return them for serious defects. I'm hoping the JWM version is what I'm looking for.

I don't recall which version it was.

Mine was purchased prior to the tape neing shipped with. On a weird note, I've kinda fallen in love with the look of the wing minus the verticals. I think I'll stick with it.

3M double sided tape which we provide with the orders. We send the good stuff. You will not have issues if installed IAW our directions. We also send the adhesion promoter.

I am checking now on the ETA of the carbon version.

Ours will sit flush with the trunk as long as you have the non 1LE SS holes in the trunk. No issues with fitment here.

We send the 4941 version tape with adhesion promoter with all orders (for the side wings). We haven't had any issues reported to us.

Correct.

Carbon fiber has been pushed back to the end of the year. The quality of the samples were not good, so we're changing the manufacturing process.

It will be worth the wait

Will be ordering shortly. I thinking about hydro dipping the wing in CF then clear it. Worth a shot, will post pics when I'm done...

So I received the wing today, but what comes in the 2nd shipped package? The shipment and directions I received say nothing about adhesion promoter or 3m tape, I also didnt get any of those things. The directions said attach winglets with silicone

I believe the 3m tape and adhesion promoter will be sent seperatly. The directions will be emailed.

directions are sent as a link in your initial order invoice. It should be right below the product info.
