Does the car attract unwanted attention?!?
Hello Zl1 owners,
Curious if your car tends to attract a lot of unwanted attention via cops/people trying to instigate a race? I consider myself mature driver and somewhat low-key, not looking to stir up too many reactions  . Hopefully some positive reactions as well ? Thanks MAC |

Lots of great attention and some bad...had several people try to instigate races.... One tried several times but I wouldn't bite... I slowed and he slowed and tried again... After several tries he rolled his window down and gave me a thumbs up then pulled ahead and flashed his blues.....glad it was still in the break in period!!!!!!

I imagine if you got the Krypton Green or the Red you may draw more attention...

All positive... There are so few around here... I personally haven't seen another ZL1 around. No one looking to race. Anyone who knows anything about cars would know better that to poke the bear!

Honestly I dont think there are that many people who realize what a ZL1 is really. Told some guys at the gas station one day that it was SUPERCHARGED...they were surprised that it came from the factory that way. The fact its a red camaro does attract some attention. Unfortunately the cops really key in on these cars. When I had my corvette, I didnt get this much attention from the law.

every one wants to "race". its not a bmw. ive had mine 5 days and i get the revs and people wanting to race. the thumbs up are always good. went to best buy and when i went to get the car it had a crowd assembled around it. yes , gets ton of attention.

I got more attention when I had my c7. Even that wasn’t very much where I live.

Mixed results. Some just think my Z is any other Camaro. Some know what it is and wanna race to race. Some just wanna see it take off. Some try to follow on a clover leaf ramp. Others just disregard it as another car.
Guess it all depends on where you live. |

I personally get comments and questions about the Garnet Red color. It's not a very common color for a ZL1.
